- The mansion of T.V. Johnson was located on High Street (Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard) and was surrounded by gardens, paths, and carriage ways. Below is the industrial city of Newark, and beyond are the Meadows and to the east, New York City. Panoramic view of Newark with Johnson Homestead in foreground and city in background. View of Newark from present-day location of Essex County Community College. Image is printed in tints with several lithographic plates each rubbed with ink of a diferent color and pressed to the same sheet of paper.
